Cystoscopy

Our urologists recommend you to undergo with cystocopy test if you suffer from any type of
urinary problem, like for instance painful urination or constant urge to urinate. Even the
procedure is recommendable to investigate varying reasons, which include presence of blood in
your urine, pelvic pain, frequent UTIs i.e. Urinary Tract Infections and overactive bladder.

Why Cystocopy is Preferable

Under cystocopy, we place a thin tube consisting of light and camera from your urethra and
within the bladder for viewing the inside of the urinary bladder based on magnified images
displayed over the screen. Thus, based on cystoscopy, we may reveal different conditions, which
include bladder cancer, stones or bladder tumors. Even the procedure helps us to diagnose any
type of noncancerous growth, enlarged prostate gland and blockages, along with ureters
problems. Along with this, in some cases, our urologists use cystocopy to remove small stones
and bladder tumors as well as to collect bladder tissue samples.
